Tampa Beauty Aesthetic Solutions

Have you looked in the mirror lately?  Really looked?  Are you seeing wrinkles, crow’s feet, or lines where they never were before? Do you need some treatments that only a medical professional is licensed to perform like Botox or dermal fillers?  If your answer is “yes”, then you’re looking for Redefine Beauty Aesthetics in Tampa, FL and the surrounding areas.

While our Med Spa offers facials and make-up applications just like a day spa, we also provide medical services that can’t be done at the typical spa. Med Spas are overseen, affiliated with, or run by a medical doctor, so our entire staff is licensed to offer elective, appearance-improving procedures under the supervision and after-care of a trained physician and a team of highly skilled nurses and aestheticians.

At Redefine Beauty Aesthetics, we believe that looking great on the outside, not only improves how the world sees you, but it improves how you feel about yourself by increasing your self-confidence, your self-esteem and by allowing your personality to shine through. Looking and feeling good helps to give you the positive attitude it takes to get out of bed every morning and greet the day with a can-do grin!

Our professionally trained staff members understand that by combining continuing education and training with years of hands-on experience, we are able to deliver results that will light up your face, bring a bounce to your step, and make a real difference in your life.  We pride ourselves in collaborating with our patients to manage expectations, create realistic goals, and achieve the best non-surgical outcomes for all of our clients.

So, let’s look at some of the medical treatments that we are licensed to perform:

  1. Neuromodulators

  • Botox

  • Jeuveau

  • Xeomin

  • Dystport

These four wrinkle relaxers are all suitable for reducing the appearance of sagging skin, aging or age spotted skin, frown lines, Crow’s feet, and other wrinkles or skin blemishes. They are all manufactured from Botulinum Toxin type A.

Once we agree on which product is best suited for your skin type and desired outcome, a small dose is injected into the underlying muscle, causing it to relax and soften the look of the skin.  By restricting your facial muscles from contracting, the Neuromodulators cause the skin to gradually smooth out, giving the overlying skin the appearance of being younger and brighter. This treatment typically lasts about three months.

  1. Dermal Fillers

  • Allergan

  • Galderma

  • Merz

These three FDA approved dermal fillers are scientifically compounded with finely selected ingredients that naturally blend with your skin so that they are completely unnoticeable. Fillers can restore the look and feel of your skin, giving you a more youthful appearance in just one treatment session. Fillers can also treat the areas of your face that need reshaping like the nose, chin, and jaw line.  Each of these areas can be refined or re-defined when done by one of our experienced injectors.

Some dermal fillers can last for 6 to 12 months, while other fillers can last 2 to 5 years. The most commonly used dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a slippery substance that every one of us produces naturally. Scientists have found hyaluronic acid throughout the body, especially in eyes, joints, and skin.  It acts as a cushion and lubricant in the joints and, in the skin, it aids in the production of collagen and elastin.

  1. Laser Hair Removal

  • Precision targeting of unwanted hair

  • Speed of procedure

  • Exacting results

If you’re tired of tweezing, waxing, or shaving to remove unwanted or unsightly hair, Laser Hair Removal may be an excellent option for both women and men.

Laser Hair Removal is one of the most requested cosmetic procedures in the United States.  In fact, according to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, about 4 million procedures using laser, light and energy-based devices to treat a variety of skin conditions, including hair removal, are performed every year, with a gender breakdown of 82% women and 18% men.

By beaming a highly concentrated laser light pulse directly into hair follicles, our aestheticians can literally destroy the follicles, thus removing the unwanted or ingrown hair from the face, leg, chin, back, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas of your body.

While laser treatment doesn’t always get rid of hair forever, it does drastically reduce hair growth—to the point that many patients won’t see any growth for months or even years, and the hairs that do eventually crop up are often thinner.

  1. MicroChanneling/Microneedling

MicroChanneling is a non-invasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, MicroChanneling can help you kick-start your body’s natural processes. It is a common treatment for acne, chicken pox or surgery scars, stretch marks or facial scars, fine lines and wrinkles, sunspots, or aging spots.

This procedure breaks down old tissue and nurtures the growth of smoother, brighter, and healthier skin. When combined with recommended cutting-edge serums or other facial treatments, healing is improved, and signs of aging are diminished.

Just like MicroChanneling, Microneedling–also known as Collagen Induction Therapyinvolves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles.  This procedure is designed to stimulate your body’s natural ability to produce collagen, elastin, and other essential building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, Microneedling can help you promote your body’s natural processes, fostering the growth of thicker, younger looking skin with minimal downtime.

The main differences between MicroChanneling and Microneedling are the type of devices used to perform the treatment and the different techniques used and the downtime. The typical downtime after a MicroChanneling treatment is 60-90 minutes, compared to a day or two of downtime with Microneedling.  But while it normally takes a few weeks for new collagen to be produced in your body, we often see almost immediate results in 24-hours.

Whichever treatment you choose, our Redefine Beauty Aesthetics’ professionals will advise and recommend what is best for your skin type, taking into consideration any underlying medical issues, and the desired outcome.
